Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How long have you been building?
Brian has been building in residential contracting for 30 years, and Precision 247 was founded in 2012.
What types of projects do you specialize in?
We specialize in decks, porches, screened in porches, all weather rooms, basements and new construction.
Can you provide a portfolio or examples of past work?
Yes we have an extensive portfolio, and you can view our GALLERY IMAGES here.
Do you have references I can contact?
Yes we do! You can read our CUSTOMER REVIEWS here, and we will be happy to provide contact information upon request.
What is the process for getting an estimate?
Once you contact us, Brian will personally come to your home and spend time with you to determine the scope and particulars of the project. Also, he will bring samples of products and will talk through the differences and make recommendations as to what will best suit your needs. He will then provide you with an estimate. At that point materials will then be ordered.
What is your estimated timeline for the project?
Every project is different, but once we determine the scope of the project, we can give you a great idea of the timeline.
What materials will be used?
We offer the highest quality materials, including YellaWood™, TimberTech™ and Trex™ for decks and a wide range of materials, fixtures and finishes for interior projects.
How will you handle communication and updates throughout the project?
We communicate frequently throughout the project with updates and any issues that may arise.
What is your process for handling unexpected issues or changes?
We will immediately communicate any issues that may arise. For instance, during a deck replacement, we can’t always see what’s under the decking boards until we demo. As for changes, we will try and accommodate all requests as best we can. However, the requested changes that happen after proposals are delivered can result in additional costs.
Is a permit necessary?
Every situation is different, and some projects require it and some do not. We are knowledgeable with each city and county permit requirements– as they vary.
Where Do You Normally Source Your Materials From?
From industry leading manufacturers like TimberTech™ and Trex™. We also use YellaWood™ for its durability and longevity.
What Is Your Strategy When Bad Weather Halts the Completion of a Project?
Fortunately, due to our mild North Atlanta winters, outdoor construction is rarely interrupted for long periods of time. We will occasionally have stops due to rain when working on an outside project, but they typically result in minor delays.
