Materials Matter

Materials truly matter. We are not interested in working with or recommending inferior materials to our clients. We are committed to building quality structures that will stand up to the North Georgia summer sun and temperatures.

We Like Offering Our Clients Choices!

No two projects, two budgets or two clients are the same, so we work hard at learning about different material options and how to successfully install whatever materials our clients choose. The only thing that we insist on is that whatever we use, it’s a quality product that performs well. Very simply, we are uncomfortable recommending or installing anything else.

Building Durable Decks

For long-lasting decks, we recommend materials like composite decking, PVC decking, and durable hardwoods like Yellawood.

Composite Decking
• Made from a blend of wood fibers and plastic, composite decking is resistant to rot, insects, and fading.
• It requires minimal maintenance (occasional cleaning) and can last for 25-50 years.

PVC Decking
• 100% synthetic, PVC decking is highly resistant to moisture, mold, and mildew.
• It’s incredibly durable and can last 50+ years with very little maintenance.
• PVC decking is known for its longevity and resistance to weathering.

Wood Options
Cedar and redwood are naturally resistant to rot and pests, and can last for decades with proper maintenance.
Pressure-treated wood is a budget-friendly option but requires more maintenance to prevent rot and insect damage.
